This morning we headed east from Loveland on US Rt. 34 and east on I-76 to the town of Julesburg CO, and the Pony Express RV Park. This is a small RV park, but they do have full hookups, so we will be fine here. The reason we are stopping here in Julesburg is to visit with ...
... 35 on the interstate, and we actually pulled off in a rest area for a few minutes until the rain and wind let up. There were some nasty clouds too....we were looking for a funnel cloud but never saw one.
The rest of the drive was great....a little gusty but very flat. And, we are now in the mountain time zone.

Today I was hoping to ride to Big Springs Nebraska. When the ride started out I was feeling like maybe this wouldn't be possible. I had a wind in my face for mot of the day but when I got to Julesburg the wind started to go to my back and I ended up riding to Ogallala. The day was fairly uneventful but I finally got into Nebraska. Tomorrow my goal is to ride to Gothenburg which is about 90 miles from Ogallala. Today I rode 88 ...
