Natural Bridges Hike
We had a pretty good breakfast of eggs, etc. at our motel in Blanding before heading out to Natural bridges National Monument. Because of its remote location it isn't at all crowded. It really is a shame because it is well worth driving a little out of the way to see.
The Visitor's Center was a good stop . They have a good orientation …
US 95 to Moab is not a 2 hour ride!
My retinas have been burned to a crisp by all this amazing scenery. Seriously. I only see in black and white now that I have exposed them to 9 straight hours of this incredible Utah landscape. My meals are blander, Gilligan's Island not as funny. People will say to me, "Wasn't Tahiti beautiful?" Or "Wow, that Grand Canyon was something else." and I …
A Soft Bed for the Night

Never seen anything like this in person before...
Great (although brief) time here at the park - the lighting was great, the girls enjoyed climbing the rocks, and good time hiking (the only reason it was brief is because we ran out of daylight - got here around 4 pm?). Some beautiul pics were taken this day! (Although Amber was NOT in the mood to be hiking much - begged to carried part of the way, as you'll see from pictures... ;)

TravelPod Member ReviewsBlue Mountain Inn Blanding
We stopped here because it was late, and we were ready to stop for the night on our way between Moab, UT and Page AZ - was thinking this was a Comfort Inn, but must have switched a while back...We DID have a large room/suite, but upon coming in the room, found a piece of food on one of the seats at the bar/kitchen counter area, felt the chairs were pretty unclean (and wobbly, too), and just not the greatest experience. (Shower curtain had a smell, too.) Too bad there weren't more options for us to choose from in Blanding...
