Best hotel in my 3 trips to VA Beach
We will definitely stay at this hotel every time we come back. The parking was great ( our car was on the same floor as our room). The view from our balcony was beautiful. The best part was the bedroom and living room were two separate rooms with a door. My husband woke up too early for me so he just closed the door and let me sleep while he made coffee, watched TV and sat on the balcony reading the paper that was at our door every morning. The fireworks were set off right in front of the hotel too. GREAT place to stay.
Felt Comfortable at the Comfort!
This place is great, big parking spots, big rooms, big helpful staff, nice layout, everything is perfect, and great for the price!! The staff is so nice and helpful! Stay at the Comfort Inn, you won't regret it! You deserve a great vacation, and that's exactly what you'll get here! I've stayed at Hiltons and I've stayed at dumps (Newcastle Hotel Stay Away!)
and i'll say this is far better from a Newcastle, but maybe a tiny bit away from a Hilton, and the price is the same as a Newcastle, and a lot cheaper from the soon to be opening Hilton!
Here are some great resteraunts-
The Raven- on Atlantic Ave. near 12th St.
Frankie's Ribs and More Laskin Rd.
Hooters Gen. Booth Rd.
Purple Cow- Laskin Rd.
Friendly's- Past Hooters on Gen. Booth Rd.
Sonic- Turn left near Friendly's
Places 2 Go-
(Both on Gen. Booth Rd.)
Hope I helped!!

Great Stay, New General Manager
Had a great stay. Convenient, clean, very friendly staff, a new general manager is constantly improving the property. Recommend this hotel to all travelers as a great place to stay at areasonable price.
Pretty Good Overall
Stayed here for Spring Break and found it to be comfortable, spacious and located in the middle of the boardwalk. Not a 4 star hotel, but for the price was adequate. Some issues included broken balcony door, bedroom located immediately in the entrance of the room, water pressure was low in the shower and at one point the hotel could not provide us with shampoo because they had ran out. Also, the continental breakfast ends at 9:00 am which is early for a vacation day. They even removed all the lobby coffee by 9:10 am. But overall we were satisfied and did get a good rate. But I will be reading other reviews to find a slightly better hotel for our next visit this summer.
Nice clean hotel
Though not as splendid as hotels in midtown NYC, this hotel is absolutely great as a beach resort. Rooms are big and clean; staff are super-friendly. Parking is easy and there are good family four-wheel bike rental nearby. The only thing bad is the noise of the wind that comes from nowhere (and it sounds a bit scary in the night).
Nice clean suite
We enjoyed the Comfort Inn...all rooms have a queen bed in a back bedroom and a pull-out queen sofa in the front room, which also has a balcony and overlooks the ocean. The pool & hot tub are clean, though are the average indoor pool size. The breakfast attendant was very friendly. The hotel has a tropical feel inside, with live gardens planted inside the lobby. A nice place!
Great suite room at a great price!
Great! Stayed here based on the reviews I read here. Winter rate for a big suite with balcony overlooking the boardwalk and ocean was $70. A good deal. Super friendly staff. Nice furniture in the room. Includes a little table and chairs right in front of the balcony so I ate breakfast gazing out over the ocean! The mini-fridge is a bit loud, as there isn't a door between the bedroom and kitchen area, but I always travel with earplugs and I was able to sleep great (normally I have lots of trouble getting to sleep in hotels but not here). Much cleaner than the last off-season hotel I stayed at.
I Love it!!!
Stayed at this hotel 2 summers in a row, the best is the spectacular view of the ocean every morning, its heavenly, for that alone I bite the bullet and pay a higher room rate for oceanview. This particular hotel is very clean and perfect for a family because it has separate sleeping quarters for the children. If you go in the summer you can sit on the balcony @ night and watch the fireworks over the ocean, it happens a couple of times each week during the summer months.
Average...Far from Spectacular
The location is very convenient (walking distance) to many great resturants and bars. The view of the ocean from each suite is beautiful and unobstructed. However, attention to detail was lacking. Examples: (1) it was necessary to have key re-programmed 2X in 3 day period (2) Housekeeping came late in the day (3) Spa was broken for entire stay (4) Temperature in the pool area was too cool (5) Afternoon/Evening front desk staff were only marginally accomadating at best. This was our second stay at this location during off season; will probably try another hotel in close proximity on our next visit.
Great place to stay!
We went to the Comfort Inn Ocean Front for a week during Virginia Beaches' 4th of July celebration. We had a great time. The room was very clean and modern. The view of the ocean from our balcony was simply spectacular. The next time we go to Virginia beach it will definately be here.

This very Northern end of the Outer Banks is the most upmarket with less sand, more trees, wild Banks ponies, classy shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful meal at the Northbank Raw Bar. Sue had shrimp (prawns) steamed in front of her while I had rockfish (striped bass). ...

Shady glades with running water have an amazing capacity to soothe and restore and both of these cities have had these in abundance. I hope that one day, fountains will return to our Brisbane.
