Loved the King Kong simulation. The screens were all around you and you literally feel like you're getting attacked from a dinosaur and King Kong saves you. Nik was smiling too so I could tell he liked this one.

... the good guys castle and hung this man on top of a tank of fuel and fell in. It was a really good show. At the end, the good guys won. We got dinner at Universal City and did a bit of shopping. ... The flight attendant was called and she still refused. The man was offered another window seat closer to the front of the plane. Not sure how it would have played out if the plane had been full. However, lady with head scarf won that round.

There was only one person sitting in the seats across the aisle from us and the young lady next to me beside the window moved there which gave us all a bit more room. Still no internet. Will try ...

Three days to go! Hard to believe it. We committed ourselves to this crazy trip over a year ago. (And maybe we should be committed!)

A hundred miles of hiking over 12 days, through three countries - France, Italy, and Switzerland. Some of the most beautiful Alps scenery all along the way.

We're on our own -- no tour guide or group. We'll be backpacking and staying in B&B's some nights. Other nights in remote mountain "refuges" ...
