Boarding time means contending with the boarding Nazi who informs me that there is someone already allocated in my seat and requests to see my passport (six hundred and one). ... yes a major rip off that no local would pay but in terms of
actual money for us westerners it is often hardly anything) .
Remember to check on bigger things too like the current politics of a
country (strikes etc) and natural problems (typhoon etc) but stick to
official sites and bear in mind some websites can exaggerate at
times; ask a local/hotel staff and do what you feel comfortable with
whether that's sticking around or moving on quickly.
