December 21: Board the Crystal Symphony before 1 pm -- that way we get a wonderful lunch with champagne. Our room is on the 8th floor and has a small balcony. For some reason, as soon as I board either the Crystal Symphony or the Serenity, I begin to totally relax as soon as I see our room. Sleep until dinner @ 6:15; sail away at 9 pm.

I'm am thankful I don’t live in Chicagoland. First, too much traffic. Second, too many toll roads! Fortunately if you have a transponder (mine worked here) the tolls are half price – it’s like they’re having a sale! Still, it cost me more than six bucks to travel around Chicago, and let me tell you, it was no privilege.
