Here we are in Dayton. Every other mile in Ohio is being dug up or paved, but we had zero hold-ups, just lots of hairy, narrow lanes at 65 mph & hundreds of 16-wheelers movin' the USA economy along. Tonight we 'll dine with some calm dignity (we hope) .... a Japanese restaurant right across the road from the motel.

Ontario had the best recycling program. Absolutely everything gets recycled - wet paper, dry paper, lawn clippings, cardboard, glass, aluminum, you name it - it gets recycled. Special blue bags are used for the trash and you'd best bring your own grocery bag to the store or you'll get charged. (Thanks Karen for giving us our own grocery bags.)
