... fun. We needed lunch but there wasn't great picnic spaces, we drove around and daddy ended up just driving out of the park, mother not thrilled lol! Greg's Version: Original plan was to spend the morning at the Stuhr Museum then drive three hours to North Platte and spend a couple of hours at the Golden Spike Tower watching the UP yard action. ... Bill was ahead of his time, he actually planned for his retirement. Bill purchased this ranch and had a house, barns, and several out buildings built. The whole thing is now a state park and houses many artifacts of the early days in Nebraska. We came back into town and found a motel for the night and then I went back out to the tower for another look. Karen is so understanding.
