    "Nebraska... the good life"

... which was a really pretty state park with a huge lake. Looks like a 4:00 arrival in Lincoln, Nebraska if I keep truckin down the road. I will be making a few more stops, though. My mom made me a bunch of killer road trip CDs that I’ve been jamming out to. I love it when I’m driving down the road and all I can see is green for miles. Not much civilization around here which is really nice. Back on the road I go!

We ended up taking the top cover off, just leaving the screen top hoping we wouldn't regret it. I have to admit as windy as it was it ...

A travel blog entry by jruetz on Jun 30, 2014

Got on the road Sunday morning with the intent of hitting Denver Sunday afternoon. This would have been a relaxing 367 mile jaunt from Moab. But decided to push on into Nebraska in case I decided to make a run for home on Monday. I have a business meeting Tuesday noon and a Common Council meeting Tuesday night that I'd like to make if I could. The ride from Moab to Denver was one of the prettiest looking and most enjoyable rides I've ...

Day 37: Grand Island to North Platte

Greg's Version: Original plan was to spend the morning at the Stuhr Museum then drive three hours to North Platte and spend a couple of hours at the Golden Spike Tower watching the UP yard action. What really happened was that we visited the Stuhr Museum yesterday and while there someone told us to make sure that we visited the Arch in Kearney NE then go on to North Platte. September 14, 2001 I was driving home from Akron OH on I-80. I looked up and ...
