I only seemed to doze overnight as I could hear the wind howling and rattling windows and doors and even though we are on the 2nd floor, I could hear the rain hitting the ground it was that hard.

Late starting the blog today the remote Alligator River and the long canal attached had no cell service so no internet. Not sure if I mentioned how we are getting all the. Internet we bought a US phone and buy 3 gigs of data as needed, it's through Verizon and I have to say it's great...The American cell system is way better than In Canada and way less money...geesh come in Canada :-)

Day 46 - Today we too the 130 mile one way trip to the Outer Banks. We visited the Wright Bros. monument and the Bodie Island Lighthouse Unfortunately it was so hot that we didn't explore more of the Banks. It was over 90 degrees since the wind was coming tom on shore. Thank goodness for Fat Boyz Ice Cream Shop.
