Our Italian adventure (our Honeymoon) began the 15th day of September, 2014. Mike and I drove to Columbus Airport, leaving Bucyrus at 8:00 a.m. We got to the Airport plenty early, so we ate breakfast at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe, When we checked in for our flight, wouldn't you know Mike was TSA approved, but not "moi"! Our flight left on time at 12:26 p.m. taking us to Atlanta, where we picked up Alitalia to Rome. We had only a ...

Staying in Ashland tonight. It appeared to be a small town but it is much bigger than we thought. Had dinner at a Bob Evans family restaurant. Have seen them in other places. We had a lovely slow roasted pot roast. The meal came with a salad served before the entree (read main meal) and included veggies with the meal. Heaven !!

It did not feel like we had been gone for 40 days! Speedometer says we traveled 10,000 miles! WOW! We sure saw many, many wonderful sights. Makes us so appreciative of this great country ...

... was interesting to say the least.

Same thing in the third session, though I felt I was starting to get a feel for the bike and the track. I was still bringing too much speed into 13, being ******* the brakes and then not letting the bike turn in. Also not using my body to maximize the turning potential of the bike.

Nate pointed out my lack of body position during the lunch break and gave me a very good stand up tutorial ...

... of the bike. If anything, this will force the fundamentals to be learned and point me in the direction I need to go along with the skills that must be practiced.

In talking with Nate, and I had a lengthy conversation with him, his belief is that working the fundamentals perfectly all the time is what makes the biggest difference in lap times and in everything else that we do. All the tools, widgets and technology will only ...
