Our second day on the road turned into an 11 hour marathon which took us just west of Chicago. We travelled 941 kms.

... putt, and more. Apparently you can rent or buy a plot of land (camp site) for some period of time and call it a cabin. Many campers have semi-permanent fixtures around their RVs.

Well, we are about 3-4 hours from "home" now. Tomorrow we will be going to my mother's house and staying there for 2 days while we start to get organized to stock our rental.

On the outskirts of Chicago it started to snow, and didn't stop. In Joliet it let up a little, and we parked to visit the Joliet Museum and get directions to the jail where Elwood picked up Jake.
