    ... and Spanish - Texas was a Spanish Colony until the 1800's. I found a great little coffee shop called 'Jupiters' which is a bit like 'The Sweat Shop' back in Townsville used to be. Loads of coffees, smoothies etc and a bohemian atmosphere. Uni students populate this place, all with their laptops, tablets out because it has free wifi. And the shops; there is a dress shop called La De Da where I could buy every dress!!! How unusual. Its sister shop next ...

    From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction.     ... a Rodeo there every Friday & Saturday. We were gutted that it was only Wednesday as you could tell it would've been an incredible experience. Had some beers at the White Elephant Saloon which is the oldest pub in the area. Its walls & ceilings were lined in cowboys hat and other memorabilia.
