Mrs. Nerves

I am really nervous about planning this trip. It is my first "public" group cruise. I am worried that I will not get enough people. I have no idea what I am doing. I my tummy is in knots! I hope it gets better soon!

The Last Holiday

Well the other trainees and I were given a week off before we had to report to our respective bases. It was over Thanksgiving and would probably be the last holiday we would have off for the next few years. I spent the time visiting family and friends but mostly I sat around the house enjoying the break.

... road in route to Costa mesa, California, we followed i-40 for most of the way with a few stops here and there our fist stop was at red rock canyon in Oklahoma, this place was pretty cool we were only there for a few hours but it was still a nice spot to explore. Unfortunately I dont have any pictures of red rock canyon all of those pics were taken on jays camcorder and a disposible camera. After ...

... KY. Not a very interesting ride, we hit heavy rain around 9:00pm e/t in New York and after that it was smooth sailing, nothin but fuel stops and **** breaks. We did the drive straight through or I guess I could say I did the drive straight through because as always I fight the wheel every mile and I ...

Got lost in Clarksville

... because the area that we drove through are pretty cramped (like big city kinda cramped not open spaced like small city). Then we stopped by a mall to get something to eat. Zhao Lei used to work for Great Steak, so she got all excited and took some pictures.

Leaving TN and the Tripps

... gun. Enjoy the title while you can Daniel! I will be back for revenge! Later, Tim attempted to grill "The Best Steak In The World." I have to admit it was pretty damn good, but mine will always be the best! Ha! Saturday, we all went to Land Between the Lakes on their boat. We fished, tubed, and killed a few more Natty Lights! Weather was amazing, and I actually caught a few catfish. Mine were the ugly ones though, but ...

Trying Hard to Be Less Soft

... was quite a hit. People actually had civil, polite conversations and everyone lounged around to do so, often remarking, "what a lovely place you have," or, "it sure is a lovely day today," or "this cheesecake is just heaven." The only conversations I remember from my last party is a guy saying, "****ing shoot that **** so we can get trashed, yo! Awwww-riiiiiighht!" So yeah, a bit different. Then again, what should I expect? I guess if anyone had uttered those words at my mom's party ...

Early In The Morning

Well, I've thought about whether to add this entry for a while because it says some things that I don't really necessarily want said to the general public. Then again, what do I care anymore. As I sit here, I'm just plain sad and lonely, and it's my own damn fault (as the great JB would say.) So enjoy this little ode to my misery, and share a piece of my soul or some other such overstated thing. --------------------------------------- ----------- I want ...

The End

... am glad that I'm home. No offense to Thailand, I really enjoyed what I saw while I was there before I got sick. Hopefully sometime down the road I can go back, but probably to a more inhabited area. I am getting back into the swing of things in St. Louis. I have a cute one-bedroom apartment just a few miles from campus, and I luckily got ...

Sweaty and Warped

... birth of the KKK in 1865. Go Tennessee. They also have Old Glory at the moment since the Smithsonian needed some place to put it while they renovate. Tonight the crew left over from Bonnaroo and the Warped Tour converged to have dinner with a new intern also. We had a whole team of people who always get the same reactions when we're carded for alcohol (since we come from all over the country). So Arron, Dan, Prachi, Brande, Kara, and I had dinner, while Amy who ...
