    The first week of September our son, daughter-in-law (Zac and Rebecca) and year old granddaughter (Annie) will be joining us in Nancy for a few days. Annie's first trip,

    Then we will be heading south to Colman, Chamois, Lyon and then over to the Dordogne area - then up to the Loire Valley, Normandy and back to Paris for a few days,

    Want to record this trip - and this is easier than keeping handwritten journals.

    It's August 7th, 24 days before we leave for France. It's our first trip as a family. Annie will be a little over 14 months old. I was kind of dreading the whole thing, how we will we do it, will Annie be a nightmare. I had a glimpse of what it could be several nights ago and my fears have been eased.     ... in some manner, but they actually had wheels on their feet! I guess it was easier to serve food on wheels that it would be by actually hopping. At any rate, dinner at Sonic was nice.

    Our next stop was to stretch at Midway Plaza. It was a nice and very busy rest stop. While there we picked up a coupon book for hotels in PA and picked one out of there to head to for the night.
