    But many many happy memories.

    It was sad to leave our friends @ Germantown, near Washington. Once again, we are reminded how generous people are with their time and hospitality.

    Our journey will now take us in a north-westerley direction with our eventual goal being the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming before the winter sets in.

    On the way we will meet up with some other friends who we last saw in 2003 in Chad's home ...

    ... are touring with our good friends Jerry and Susan Holman . We all road the Anchorage Trolley in the rain. We learned about the massive 64 earthquake , Cooks inlet named after a British sailing Captain, and the railroad building camp that was the beginning of the city. The day ended with a meal of oysters and seafood chowder . Tomorrow we train to Talkeetna and will enjoy a jet boat river ride to see wildlife and spawning ...

    Not much happened today, slept in, ate, drove around Pittsburgh, shopped & ate again, this time we went to Denny's Diner.  They burger was very good.  Then we shopped again then headed back to hotel.  Just relaxing now.    Will be heading  off to Washington DC early tomorrow ...
