In the afternoon leading into the Last Great Day, we went back to Jungle Jim's to purchase some more special foods, some of them for gifts. Then we went back to the mall to look for some shoes for Martin. As it turned out, all four of us ended up buying some shoes, although Martin didn't find his in the mall, but in Marshall's nearby. It is dangerous for me to enter a shoe store, as I will often find something I like, and I have enough pairs of ...

... so I will stop here. Tomorrow will be really busy as we have an early choir practice, checking out of our room, two services and two choir performances, then we have to leave soon after services and travel for a few hours before staying overnight somewhere - so we can be back home in time for Heidi's chemistry class early Tuesday afternoon.

Enjoy the rest of your Feast and Last Great Day, everyone, and safe travels home!

Later, we did some shopping, then there was an old-timey classic night with popcorn.

The day before yesterday, we took a couple with us to see the nearby Creation Museum. They are supposedly building a realistic and life-size model of Noah's Ark, but it will be another year or so before it is ready. Overall, it was a very good experience, except that they focus rather a lot on the dinosaurs, ...

... night. We had a very inspiring start tothe Feast. There was a few-minute pre-recorded presentation from President Kubik, welcoming everyone to God's Feast. There was a beautiful solo for special music, followed by a great sermon from Mr. Dunkle on how to fear God and rejoice at His Feast. We stayed around afterward for fellowship, then went back to our room and shortly to bed. I slept really soundly for most of the night, although this afternoon I ...

... large, but it was good. It was an Asian-type salad with chicken, blue cheese, crunchy noodles, lettuce, and cranberries. Delicious!

We tried to go to bed soon after that, because we would have to be up really early the next morning, in order to make a planned excursion, and arrive for the the 2pm choir practice in Cincinnati. I didn't sleep that well because I was restless and the room temperature was too warm, but the bed was very comfortable.
