Gracias a Dios for the incredible time we had in Lima, Peru!!!!! This is an adventure I will not soon forget. The boys are already saying "we REALLY want to go!!!!"

The venue itself was pretty nice, and we had a really fun crew. They were so efficient and good that we had our fastest load out to date.

Decatur, AL claims to be a "Grand City on a Charming Scale"... now, I don't really buy that, but I will say, I found it's alternative title "Home of Meow Mix" to be the most exciting aspect of the city. We passed the giant Meow Mix factory on the way out of town. Sadly, it left it's jingle of singing cats in my head for about 5 min.

... have the attention span of a goldfish..I swear.. what..squirrel.. Lord.. I took Courtney..Hollywood, Alyssa, Ashlynn and Cate to the Space Camp. It was fun. They got to learn how to make a homemade rocket and lava lamp. Lisa get ready cause your doing it at home. The camp had rides outside and simulators inside. It was pretty neat. Along w/ all the space campers..It was cute till the annoying space camp counselor ...

Out of campground at 5:50 am. Gas close by was a nice price -- $2.27.9. One of the best prices of the whole trip!

Detoured through Land Between the Lakes (Kentucky and Tennessee). There is a nice Nature Center ($4 per adult), an elk and bison habitat to drive through ($5 per vehicle), and an 1880's homestead area ($4 per adult). This area might be a good place for a vacation closer to home. Canoes can be rented. There are ...

... CLEAN AND INVITING. BOTH MEALS AT THE RESTAURANT WERE VERY GOOD. WALKING OUT TO WHERE THE POOL AND ARCADE IS WHICH IS RIGHT OUTSIDE OF OUR ROOM WAS LIKE WALKING OUT IN THE AIR OF THE TROPICS. I DID NOT GET BEAT TO BAD AT CARDS AND THE CHOCOLATE OF COURSE, AS ALWAYS, VERY GOOD! WE WILL GO BACK.

REALLY WE HAVE BEEN TO THIS MOUNTAIN
OVER AND OVER AGAIN BUT NEVER WITH
OUR LITTLE GRAND-DAUGHTER. WE REALLY
HAD A GOOD TIME. WE DID SLIDES, TEETER
TOTER, AND I DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE
NAMES OF THE OTHER ONES. SHE LOVED
THE SQUIRRELS. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE.
I WAS SURPRISED AT THE DIFFERENT AGE
GROUPS OF PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE ...

... THE WAY THE WHOLE POWWOW WAS SET UP IT WAS LIKE YOU COULD HAVE BEEN IN AN INDIAN VILLAGE ALONG THE WATER...OH THE SOUNDS ...EVERYONE INTERACTING WITH ONE ANOTHER. THE SMELLS; THE CRAFTS; THE CLOTHES; THE DANCES; THE MUSIC ALL FROM ANOTHER TIME. THE WEATHER WAS PRETTY COOL SO ALL WAS WONDERFUL. THAT IS UNLESS YOU DIDN'T BRING A WARM JACKET. THE LAND WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I AM SO GLAD WE WENT! GOING BACK! LORD WILLING...

TODAY WE TOOK LITTLE BIT OF A WHOLE LOT TO GET PIZZA AT CHUCKEY CHEESE. THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME TO TAKE A GRAND-CHILD TO EAT PIZZA HERE. NO WE DID NOT RIDE THE RIDES BUT WE SURE HAD A LOT OF FUN WATCHING HER RIDE AND WATCH THE OTHER CHILDREN. I AM NOT SURE HOW SHE LIKED CHUCKEY CHEESE AND HIS GANG SINGING BUT THE REST INSIDE THIS PIZZA PLACE SHE DID LIKE. I AM SURE WE WILL BE GOING BACK1
