Parked on a beautiful five acre estate to visit Gil and Pat. Gil is a friend from pilot training.

Cosmo thinks we have finally arrived at the place we have been looking for - great people, lots of room to roam, green grass, nice weather, food and water!

          Will add some photos later.

The last day of our tour ........all a bit sad because we'd made nice friends and they were a good group. The Tour Manager, Jason Cohen, and the driver, Eric, were both top class. We saw a couple of trains take off with happy-looking tourists on board, and we watched ...

... Much of the original structure remains and has been restored to once again be the largest California mission church and the only one with three aisles. It was named for John the Baptist. Musical arts were taught here and the mission owned many instruments, which the Indians readily took to. Father Tapis developed a colored musical notation system and taught ...

... allow bikes!!! so it was on to Monterey via freeway and lunch in the upmarket towns Cannery row.
Then onto Santa Cruz escaping the freeway where possible as the wind was still strong

The hotel was opposite the jetty so strolled out and found a bar with a $6.00 margarita and Taco deal. so Tony needed 2 tacos and had to get another drink.
