... It's been warm and the beach has been great (when it hasn't been raining!). The ocean keeps getting warmer and summer is officially December 1. It couldn't get any better. So I'll be heading to Hong Kond on December 14 where I have a stop over and will be in Ottawa on December 15 sometime in the night. I am hoping that the people who are around me on the flight back are better then the people on the way here!

Just like the 'Retired Servicemens League' and the 'Bowling Clubs', this is a well established organization, each local branch with its own substantial premises, where you can sign in as a temporary member and buy a (very) good meal at reasonable prices. ... The wind had settled a bit so Francy and I decided to get to were the boat was to pick us up. When we got there the others in the group managed to get the canoes in before the wind picked up. When the boat arrived the skipper said that there was a tropical storm coming. He got caught up in the wind as well, saying that he couldn't steer the boat and it had 2 bloody engines!! It was good craic looking back at it but not much fun at the time!
