    ... way to our house and they were able to fix. Ride was nice surprisingly cool most of the day about 500 miles. Had a nice dinner at Red Lobster took our showers and now time to relax. Back on road tomorrow about 7:30am. Will post tomorrow night at next ...

    ... 5 PM and were pleasantly surprised when the hotel clerk gave us an upgraded room…actually 2 rooms, one a typical hotel room and the adjoining room made up as a living room. Very comfortable!! We have managed to make it to the Elite Status with La Quinta and are enjoying the benefits of our loyalty.

    We decided to try for a Passport America campground despite the discount not being an option -- it is a nice family type campground which looks like it would be popular in the summer with lots for families. It is busy enough being the start of a weekend. When we checked in there was no Passport America discount but they did give the Good Sam discount.

    ... still toiling for wages, poor girl. We had a great time reminiscing about our youths growing up in the same neighborhood. The restaurant was Weber’s, an institution in Ann Arbor. I had an excellent mahi mahi filet….a taste of home.
