    ... to play Pass the Parcel. Later in the
    afternoon/early evening the fire was lit and smores were made for
    those that had even an inch of room in their bellies. Everyone was so
    welcoming, we felt right at home and we know we've added a bunch more
    friends to our lives.



    When we got home we sat on the front
    steps to watch the fireworks exploding everywhere. Happy 4th

    ... for what they pay to be there?! In all fairness, I should've checked out a McDonald's in Indiana, not on the Toll Road, but it's too late for that now.... Indiana wants me but I can't go back there....
    We crossed three states: Illinois, Indiana - going by, but not into my brother's namesake, Gary, and finally Michigan. That makes a total of, let me see if I remember - Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, ...

    ... a fantastic view of the city from outside the Aquarium and Planetarium right on the Lake. We continued up Lake Shore Drive and went past the iconic Buckingham Fountain where the tv show "Married with Children" filmed its beginning. We took photos of the city from its varying angles and the iconic Sears Tower which is now known as Willis Tower and Trump Tower.
