... thoughts of this journey are so very very exciting and terrifying at the same time. The scenery, the wildlife, the glaciers, the history..............the 185+ miles of non stop gravel road which is called the "Top of the World Highway" that I must take to enter into Alaska at the most northern point. ... the innocent campers around us while we happily drove into town in the warm shelter of our homey mini van and had a wonderful dinner at 'michigan barbeque' and drove back to camp when the storm passed (for a while.)
