... this Peg is napping on the couch. Do you detect a pattern here? Actually since I have been doing the driving she has done virtually all the camper chores of cooking, dishes, and cleaning. At home I do more of the dishes since she cooks better than me.
We went to the John Deere Pavilion which was a mini-museum. The full museum and factory tours were closed for Sunday. The pavilion was fine for us, it was interesting ...
... and stop working. Unfortunately I did not know that, so after getting the fire going I started trying to set up the dish antenna we brought with us so Peg could have TV. I spent about an hour and a half and still never got it going. I may try a little more on the 28th or may say to heck with it till we get to another site.
Trip Mileage to this point is 945. Just made it to Davenport, Iowa. Finally found the casino that Pop and Wayne went to years back. So we are parked and getting ready to go in... Isle of Capri. It looks like a Riverboat on the Mississippi River. (Great opportunity to teach the little ones how to spell Mississippi !) pics will ...
... br> So that night we slept in her outside the tow yard trying to figure out what we were going to do - not to mention that the tow had ripped some of the seams on the roof so when it rained the water was coming down in buckets...literally we were using every pan we had to try to catch all of the water...it was humid and miserable..hopefully tomorrow we can get out of Iowa...and I can light the damn motorhome on fire :)
