... bit on the lock doors. Michele's pole hook also fell apart as she tried to pull the boat up the wall. We were ready to relax and have a nice cold Canadian micro brewed beer with lunch in Westport. The crowd at Westport is not as friendly as the groups we met along the way at the lock docks. This is odd since the guide books seem to brag about the friendliness of this place.

... Driving - only for a short distance though - we happened upon a sign that read Lemoine Point Conservation Area. Since we were in the area, we thought we'd check it out. The walk along the paths were wonderful. We especially liked walking along Lake Ontario. We saw lots of trees, flowers and birds.
