When you fall asleep at 8pm, it doesn't seem so early to wake up at 430am -- especially when it is light out! This was actually super pleasant - at around 5am the sun is just up, and the air is still (by Gold Coast standards) cool. We enjoyed a coffee on the balcony, watching the surprising number of people jogging and walking their dogs. By 630am, it is already getting pretty hot.

... Melbourne airport it took four and a half hours to arrive at Christchurch. To make time go abit faster on the plane I read up on New Zealand’s culture and how they do things differently over there. At 11.50pm I had arrived at Christchurch airport but I still needed to get my bags and a taxi to my hotel room. Today we went to awareness Brothers Movie World. We saw Batman and the Batmobile, Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird, Brittany, Scooby and his gang, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and the Joker from Batman, and many more. ... they were stuck fast. The wrapping covering the fittings indicated that it was a new vessel on a delivery trip. Unfortunately for someone it was headed back to the slipway once it was afloat.
Back alongside the results were that most things worked, just a couple of gauges need replacing. This will delay our departure. Now looks like being Friday. The up side is that Kim and I can work on the leaky toilet pump.....yum.

Chris is such a nice bloke and has to juggle so many other jobs including our camper! He keeps getting interrupted by phone calls, and etc. This week Chris had to help Greg on the Coaster bus that Greg is working on. Have to say the Coaster looks amazing.
