    history. It was the birthplace and early
    home of the wife of President Woodrow Wilson, born upstairs in 1872, the
    seventh of eleven children to a local judge and his wife.

    ... VA. A poor dinner at Denny's... I should know better by now. A little food shopping and then back to the camper and turned the heat on.

    Watched the movie, "I Am Gabriel", last night. It has a great message of hope and faith! How God can bring revival to a depressed and hopeless town using a young boy... or is he?

    ... trails just to cut off the big loop I knew was coming, but once again, I stuck it out. I think eventually I might start taking those short cuts, but I'm not quite there yet. The Scales was a cool little place. All it was was a wide open grassy area surrounded by fences, but it was pretty incongruous with the surrounding terrain (rocky, scrubby highlands on one side and mountainous forest on the other), which made it more interesting.     ... some of the best kids to come up and join in on some of the main stage sets. One incredible young guy is Carson Peters. He looks 9 or 10, but is apparently 12 years old, but fiddles and sings as well if not better than, some of the veterans. He sings tradition bluegrass and gospel. His father and mother backed him on the mainstage but he also played with a teen group on the youth stage. He is worth checking out on Youtube.
