... going for a walk I learnt how too speak to ducks an I also learnt about how the gates worked. So one side of the gate had more water in it and the midlle and end didn't have as much so when a boat came they had a remote to open the closest gate an close the furtherst gate to fill the middle then they would close the first gate the open he second then they would carry on. ... so enquired and found we were allowed to park overnight….decision made..we found the least sloping bit we could and parked up. We had driven a total of 86 miles.

It was still very hot and sticky and only a short wander to get our bearings was the order of the day, followed by dinner, drinks and then sit watching all sorts of cyclists, runners, joggers and rollerbladers come by for their evening constitutional. ...
