I landed at Belmond, IA ( Y48) grass strip around 10:30 am and buddy Gary met me shortly after. The strip is this well kept stretch of turf set in the middle of endless corn fields. Thank you, GPS! Because there is no way to distinguish green grass airfields from green corn from up a few thousand feet.
