OK, so here it is Thursday and as promised, another update.

As I told you, yesterday we spent all day cleaning-clothes and "home". Of course we couldn't very well do much of anything else since it was raining all day! We also watched a couple of movies. Once I said something about playing games, but Bob isn't much of a game player, so I think he just didn't answer, or maybe he didn't hear me. :The rain started ...

Started the day by going to church. Their pastor is on vacation so the Liturgist/Choir
director delivered the message. He was pretty good, but they didn't have communion on this first Sunday. Of course I went to the early service, so they may have had it at the late service.

Did a load of dark clothes (love that washer). Watched everyone else leave. Think there are only about 10 of us left here for the night. Everyone was talking about the storms coming in, but we've ...

... a short while, Bob went back to the gathering place and I went for a long walk. There is a Kmart across the street from the fairgrounds so I walked over there and did some looking around. Didn't buy anything, but I needed to get my steps in for today and I really don't like walking around in circles. I'd rather go to a store and walk around looking at things. From our coach to Kmart and back is probably 1.75 miles. So with all the walking ...

... will be some left by the time we get home, but I wouldn't bet on it. After lunch we headed back to Sedalia, stopping in Tipton at the Dutch Bakery where we bought another loaf of bread and a couple of snacky items.

Tonight's dinner consisted of half a Cornish Hen roasted, baked potato, green beans, roll and cake for dessert. You can't say Passport America doesn't feed well. During dinner we were visited by "Barney Fife". The evening entertainment ...

    Rain, rain, go away

... put for a while. It came down pretty good for about an hour.

They were going to play BINGO, so we joined in. Ten games for $10 is pretty good. We didn't win anything but we stayed dry. There were several people who went back to their coaches to retrieve their pets and when they came back in, they all looked like they were in wet T-shirt contests.

It finally quit raining, but the light show is still going on. Hopefully it will not rain any ...
