    It is now 3:30, the tour is finished, we've spent money, and now we're on our way to Tipton, MO to visit the Dutch Bakery, AGAIN. That Amish bread will pull you in every time.     ... in 1897 when they built their house. It is up on a cliff overlooking the valley. By the time we arrived, it also was getting ready to close, so we just walked around the grounds for a bit.

    One of the couples we met last year at the Passport America Rally in Concord, NC is here and are also staying tonight, so we're going out to eat later. They are from Texarkana and know one of the couples in our RV chapter. Anyway they are also working their way north for the FMCA rally.

    This being America's birthday, we had a good celebration.

    There wasn't too much going on for the rally today, since it is the last day. There was a Pet Parade this morning, but since we don't have a pet, we didn't attend. We made an appearance, said a few "Hi's" then went over to the horse show that was happening here today.     ... Yep, that was the place. You know when a place is good when all the locals are eating there also, and by locals I mean Mennonite men and women. They had a buffet of which we decided to partake. Good down home country cooking, nothing fancy, by good. However, the bread stole the show. I don't know how they make their bread but it is by far the best bread I have ever eaten. We ended up buying a loaf to freeze and consume slowly over the next several weeks. ...
