... that might be dangerous. Anyway it was an experience but we really should take the weather into consideration when booking camp sites in future.
Observation for today is that America is a nation on tail gater , there is little or no understanding of the 3 elephant rule and you can overtake on the inside late to avoid frustration. Im not surprised they have to retake the driving test in Europe.

... way to the Hwy 17 bridge at 8+ knots in the favorable breeze. Maggie did several stints at the helm and is getting the knack of handling the boat. She seems much more at ease doing this now and her earlier tentativeness has been replaced with confidence.

... mansions. Some were in disrepair, so not. Most were not all that expensive and some were a steal. All needed repairs of some sort. Clio itself is a dying town, with many boarded up buildings, houses ready to collapse and nothing to do in town. Today we said goodbye to Grandpops and Grammy (until Christmas) and started making our way home to VA.

We made great time to Florence, SC and decided to stop there for the night.

Andrew accompanied us to Cracker Barrel for dinner and he had a great time watching us eat :)
