... the lights dimmed and the glow of the cake
even brighter the bidding begins. He starts with the normal
$25,40,50,60,75,120,150,170,170,170, SOLD $175. Once again the room
erupts in applause as 3 young boys dressed in full hunting camo and
boots run up front to claim the cake that they had just bought. They

... way to the Hwy 17 bridge at 8+ knots in the favorable breeze. Maggie did several stints at the helm and is getting the knack of handling the boat. She seems much more at ease doing this now and her earlier tentativeness has been replaced with confidence.

We finially got to my friends home in Clio, SC. Rip and Brenda welcomed us with open arms, litterally. Then they parked us on their lawn. Today we said goodbye to Grandpops and Grammy (until Christmas) and started making our way home to VA.

We made great time to Florence, SC and decided to stop there for the night.

Andrew accompanied us to Cracker Barrel for dinner and he had a great time watching us eat :)
