... Steps, not far from our Hotel - thanks to Rick Steve's travel maps. The Spanish Steps is named for the Spanish Embassy to the Vatican which has been there for 300 years. The Steps are considered a very romantic place, frequented by such as Keats, Goethe, etc. Then we meandered over to Trevi Fountain. The beautiful Trevi Fountain was built in 1762 and shows off the reopening of several ancient Roman aqueducts. Both sites we ...

To call the 110 miles spent riding around MidOhio's 14 corners (with the motorcycle chicane prior to the Keyhole) enlightening would be an understatement. Larry got the precheck on his pass which ...

Race tracks at night when there is no action on track are serene places. All is calm and peaceful, yet there remains a sense that violence will soon be unleashed.

In the morning I run my first laps at a performance riding day at MidOhio. This is a track from a different era, when drivers and riders were required to be men and tracks were built around the landscape. This is not one of the Tilke style tracks with epic runoff. A ...

Wednesday we took Max to Freightliner in Columbus. One of the psi gauges was showing issues with the air bags holding pressure. Gaffney Freightliner suggested we might need to change the rear air handler filter needed replaced. Did that before leaving but made no change. We tried to get an appointment in Gaffney (they ...
