... was a bit of commotion with the other snorkelling group but we couldn't quite see what was going on. It was only after we were all back on the boat that the other snorkelling group saw a humpback whale and their leader decided to follow this humpback whale for a bit. Now that would have been something to swim with a humpback. Anyway, it was a good introduction to swimming in the deep water and at least we were better prepared when we had to do it for real in a few hours time.

No one really wanted to say good-bye to the beach but it was time to continue our journey north. So far we have logged about 3600 miles on Vincent. We're thinking we're going to blow by our 6000 miles estimate long before we hit IL again.
