We had a bit of a rough day. First our blind and shade on the driver's side came disconnected so we couldn't use it. Bob jimmied it up with a piece of string to hold it from flopping around and coming down on my head. Then we discovered that our hydraulic jacks were low on fluid THEN we noticed a BIG crack about 13 inches long at the bottom center of our windshield. Oh dear!!

After about two hours in searing heat we get out of Chicago and we stop. I get off the bike and nearly fainted, I was suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration. Two bottles of water and about 10 minutes later I was OK again.
Good to visit Chicago but not like that!
Another 100 miles and getting to the hotel, having a shower and then a couple of beers was very welcome indeed!!
