Catching the bus back (after mastering the ticket system, which took way longer than it should of!) we arrived back at the van in what felt like arctic conditions, “21 degrees? that can’t be correct?!” No air con was needed that night!
... the owner. After about 30 minutes a woman turned up who'd only come to sort out her office in the building. She rang the owner who said let us in and he'd be down soon. So we went back in our room, it hadn't been cleaned of our old sheets yet.
The owned turned up after a while and I paid for 2 nights.

Afterward, we decided we would take the light rail up to Port Adelaide and check out the National Rail Museum. Port Augusta is actually the historical hub of the GSR, but Adelaide, being only a few hundred kilometers to the south is the closest major city to I guess that's where they decided to put it. Lucky for us!

Camps Australia, if your camping in Australia you have to buy this book its a no brainer, get a old copy off gumtree for $20 or buy a new one for $60, either way this will save you the most money exploring Australia by pointing you to thousands of free or low cost camp sites (Apart from National Parks we never paid for a camp site).
