... a tour of the vineyards as we never quite got round to that in New Zealand and there are so many vineyards in Adelaide. It's perfect you get to try as many wines as you want and you don't have to buy one if you don't want to. We stuck to red wine all day and Chris and I chose our favourite and get one for when we finish walking to everest base camp. We drove from Hawker down the peninsula to Port Pirie to see a life size model of the biggest great white shark ever caught in South Australia. It was a female at 5.5m long, we will not be swimming at the beach while we are here. From there we continued to Adelaide and set up camp at West Beach.
