We lucked out again and the weather was gorgeous! Cool sunny and the wind at our back! Lots of steep climbs 15% and better in a couple of places, the last kiss from ABb. The roads in New Hampshire are great for the most part and the towns are old and all kinds of streams and lakes are littered throughout. The aroma in the air is a lot like smelling a Christmas tree in some areas and then some areas were like walking into a flower shop. The ride although 85 miles was too short! The climbing we...

Every summer garment I own is piled on the bed in the guest room as I try to decide what to take and what to leave! I need outfits, he just needs clothes! We have our camera, ipod, computer, gps ...

A very chilly night, 33 degrees brrrrr, we were not anxious to get out from under the warm covers but time to move farther south. Crossing into New Hampshire for a visit with George’s cousin Peggy and her husband ...
... had a great Birthday dinner. We followed up by going to Hayward's Ice Cream stand to get "kiddy cups" (these are only 2 gigantic scoops) -- Jenny got moose tracks with peanut butter cups on top (this was the closest she got to a moose in New Hampshire).
We came back to Paul's parent's house and watched the OSU v. Arizona football game on TV. Both the Beavers and the Red Sox lost today, so that was a bummer. Other than that, it was an outstanding day.
... starting mid New York and getting dark-I am on a non freeway winding and narrow road-hwy, 7, 9 and 101 to Amherst New Hampshire where I will meet a cousin of Jim's that we had corresponded with for many years and never met. Nuvi did a good job and I arrived just after 8 –they were getting worried- I didn’t want to take the time to stop and fire up the computer for her phone number—but only an hour over due from what I had emailed her. Both of her kids are ...
Amherst, New Hampshire, United States teamccSo we managed to find our way home after an incredible summer. In just over 5 weeks we were in 29 States, drove 12,700 miles, visited 5 World Heritage Sites, many wonderful state and national parks, saw great cities, awesome beaches and fantastic friends and family. This was a time I will cherish forever.
Thanks to all who have followed my blog and taken this journey with us.

... four hours of travel time but c'est la vie n'est pas? The jet lag is horrendous though zombie state for two or three days I think. To add insult to injury the weather is not cooperating. I ask you when people say summer semester does this not mean sunny and bright weather. I think the Gods have a personal vendetta against me. I get to Massachusetts and I am told that just the day before it was 80ofarenheit bright and sunny people barbecuing and gardening ...
