... The view from high above looked like something you find on a post card. I really regret not blocking out a whole day to experience Niagara Falls. It's certainly a place that I'll have to return to someday.
From there I drove the rest of the way to Chicago. I arrived pretty late - around 9pm - and pretty exhausted. So the plan it to head to bed now and wake up tomorrow well rested and ready to go. Tomorrow will just be me and the city.
One last stop at 'Italian Ice Cream' - just coffee this time and we buy some beans for home...
once again the QEW -noting interesting road signs as we go (Casablanca) quite busy and then onto 407 much quieter - about Markham we need
to get off the 407 and seeing as it is almost finished decide to take the 'local' 7 East - local
traffic is slowed ...
... of out neck as we walked closer and closer to the edge of this look out thingie, there were a zillion Asian people out there all taking photo's of their friends and themselves with the falls in the back ground. We then wandered around the park following the water as here they can get up close and personal with the water, and it is such a lovely park the difference from the Canadian side to here was amazing why the Americans want to go to the canadian side beats me as all there ...
... over the edge!!! Then fireworks at night at 10 pm and the reflective lights stayed on until midnight! Beautiful!! Had chicken caesar salad at Applebees lovely!!! Today we hit the road to Lake Erie and hope to see my friend Sue Pacior in Oil City!!! Then Chicago ...
... to Ripley's Believe It or not Museum and that was a hole new kind of experience.I really enjoyed looking at all the cool stuff they had on show.And in some of my pictures you will witness amazing and incredible things people can achieve.And what you can do with stuff if you really put your mind to it.Well that was my experience at Niagara falls and also i can now officially cross of one of the seven wonders of the world.One down six to ...
