(We walked down a gravel road near the house for about a kilometre to reach the historic walk through the Ottaway Park area that shows the old time logging methods. A lot of what we saw was identical to logging practices in Canada, with the exception of the type of trees, of course. ... koalas hanging from the branches over the road. This time there was a mother koala clutching a youngster and they were hanging about 10 feet away. We pulled the campervan aside and spent another hour or two watching as they moved around the branches reaching for more tasty leaves. We even tried rubbing the leaves ourselves and I put one in my mouth. It tasted like how the spa smells (eucalyptus). These guys must have potent breath that smells like the spa??? ...
