... nearby waterfall. After a short walk through a wooded area we came to a lookout. It was a bit leafy there so ironically we couldn't see much. We continued our descent to the bottom of the falls where the view was much better. After enjoying the waterfall, I clambered about on the rocks whilst Nicole rolled her eyes (worried that I would fall in) and took a few photos. The climb back up seemed much steeper than it was on the way down but we soon made it back to the ...

... We said goodbye to John and continued onto our first overnight stop, Apollo Bay, passing through one more nice little town called Lorne. The three of us took a walk along the beach and watched the sun set before having an early night (we were all still a little hungover!) Day two was the main day of sightseeing on the Great Ocean Road, we were up bright and early, had a quick breakfast and we were on our way. We stopped first at Maits Rest, a ...

Okay in taste, I guess, but I wouldn't want to have more than one and would prefer something else. ...

... and waterfront region, there wasn't all that much there to keep us occupied for more than a couple of hours. All up we quite enjoyed our time at Wye river. I couldn't do more than a few days here though. There is no Vodafone reception, so we had no phone or internet for our entire stay, which is not such a bad thing. We enjoyed a stay 3, pay 2 deal also so value for money is great, as is the green and turquoise ...

... After that we went and had breakfast of spaghetti and meatballs on toast, was nice. Went back to where we had camped to see the koalas then set off.

Today we had to get to Lorne and find somewhere to camp. We stopped off at Mait's Rest and did the 30 minute rainforest walk, it was quite nice, wasn't hot like the other rainforest we'd been in. After that we set off to go to Apollo Bay.

When we got to Apollo bay we went ...
