... under the I-20 Interstate which is about the half way point for this journey.
The water here was extremely muddy and full of logs and limbs. Someone has to man the lookout for trash in the water while someone guides the tiller and two men handle the buckets.

They gassed and iced up and then bid farewell to Demopolis and headed up the Tombigbee River .
... another T with ball valve. They will put a radiator cleaner in the line that Ed says works great. The result will be a flush system for the inlet side of the water pump. They will also install a new thermostat since they think the old thermostat may be original to the engine. Then my notes say "guacamole" but I think that has to do with supper and not the engine. ...
... at least a week. There are no more marinas for us to stop at except Bobby's Fish camp and it's not really a marina. We will be anchoring every night and sometimes right in the river channel with barges going by.

Eight miles and we are passing by a Federal Prison just before Aliceville. It was cute that every fifty feet they had small signs. We hoped for a local place but saw none so settled for Subway. ...
