We found a shallow place along the river and dropped the anchor so I could change the racor fuel filter. It only took 10 minutes and we were on our way again. About half an hour later the same thing happened. Squeezing the priming ball got it running again. The only thing I could think of was the secondary fuel filter on the engine and i didn't have one.

... The famous walk lead by Martin Luther King, Jr. started here on the bridge. The town was a throwback to 1962 only deserted. We didn't feel safe until we passed Concordia College. Then it changed dramatically. Needless to say we did not visit the Voting Rights Museum in the scary part of town.

We finally stopped at Foscue State Park in Demopolis, AL. Really nice spot on the water with tall ...

... still members of the Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans, the guys are able to make use of most of the yacht clubs along the way. This is a very nice perk and I KNOW the guys are grateful for some amenities on this trip.
