The review is on Trip Advisor under the same user name above!

1800 to 1900: We drove out to the town for our dinner, we dined at Golden Lake Chinese Takeaway Cafe, the food was delicious, we were so hungry that we forgot to take a picture of the meal!

2000: Rest.

*Note: the drive along the Pacific Drive and Coastal Line was great! Highly recommended!

... in a local bank probably got burned up. But instead of spending months fighting in court, the insurers are pretty much honoring contracts with a minimum of paperwork. Its nice to see, and I wish that could happen in places like New Orleans. Anyway, just wanted to say I'm fine. I'm still hanging out in Batemans Bay. Saving money for a few more days, then its off to Sydney. After that, I'll fly over to New Zealand around the 1st of March and spend a month there.

Surfing Bateman's Bay

... kangas etc but Bailey was probably the highlight. *getting smashed in the face/body by a nasty wave to the extent that you lose your footing and go under, and possibly round and round, for a bit. Normally closely followed by a bit of coughing and spluttering and frantically clearing the water from your eyes in order to work out where the next wave is and how soon before it hits you.

It was so chilled, and such a good life - gorgeous weather in winter, a beautiful beaches accompanied by equally beautiful waves, yet another place and experience that made us wonder why anyone lives in England, where all there is to do outdoors in the winter is shuffle around wrapped up ...

... for the day was a young netballer who towered over me at 6ft 7in! We spent several hours at the facility touring all the different venues and watching the training of several different sports. I won't bore people with the fine details but for anyone who is interested in sport and how sport is run, it is a must see. Highlights included a visit to the Sports Science lab where I gota chance to test out a floatation tank. Sleep in such a tank is worth 5 times more than ...

We have amazing Karma

... including our hostel. We found it pretty quick. It was small and was run by a local surfer and his wife. His wife had her nose pierced and she was one of those people that it just didn't fit. Anyway, this hostel was not only cheaper, but cleaner and non-smelly, and Adam and I got our own room. No top bunk for me tonight. Also a traveling first: clean fresh towels! We checked in, showered, and went to the golf course for some food. The owner ...

The beginning of the long goodbyes!

Hi again! I know I haven't even left the country yet, but I have begun my trip! At least, I have finished work and that's as good a start as any! I have actually started what seems like the longest goodbyes, honestly people, I'm not going for that long!! It has been lovely, but I am starting to feel sad to be leaving evryone for so long ...

... the beach. Unfortunately, the cameraman was busy photographing the young ladies, and missed it. Despite missing my crowning glory, I ended up paying an extortionate $50, for my photos, was it worth it you decide? I am trying to justify it, because my parents expressed a desire to actually see me in photos, and not quolls, wombats, or waterfalls, so here are five for the family album. It's unfortunate that the weather was so bad, it would have been nice to get the ...

... efforts on the housing estates in the area.... Whoooooah! One chap had made such an effort, that i think it must have been a drain on the national grid, he put Trowbridge town councils lights to shame. he charhed for entry into his garden and all the proceeds went to charity, when we arrived (we didn't go in by the way) there were crowds outside, it really was quite a sight. Definitely puts the Seymour ...

Down South for the weekend.

... Tilba - a quaint tourist town in the hills, where Marcus got excited in the old fashioned lolly shop, and Keith & Sharon bought home-made cheese. On the way back to Narooma, we stopped off at the most gorgeous beach I've seen in Oz so far - Mystery Bay. Hardly a soul in sight as we wandered along the sand and clambered over the rocks. As we stood looking out to sea, a pod of dolphins kindly swam past - we spotted babies amongst the pod - jumping out of the ocean. Wow!
