This place is in need of an update and cleaning. The hall carpet was stained and the room had an odour. The pool must have been a recent addition because it appeared clean and did not have an odour. The breakfast was basic.

I didn't tell them how much we were coming with so it will be neat to see their reaction. :-) People donated school supplies, socks, underwear, etc. from off the orphanage's 'wish list' and with the money donated, we were able to purchase additional school supplies, socks, underwear, etc. so that is great! ...

So we started our journey a week ago and we've now made it to Lethbridge, Alberta. Here's the scoop on how week 1 went:

    September 25th, 2013
Day 1 we spent settling into the road trip, making stops in North Bay for a picnic lunch, Sudbury to see the Big Nickel and Sault Ste. Marie for a good nights sleep.
