      ... returned to say that the phone was in her wallet the whole time. Happy that we had all our belongings and the plane hadn't left yet we boarded, found our seat and took a big sigh of relief. We waited for take off, waited and waited, surely they weren't waiting for more passengers. What was the deal? The captain announced that the flight nav. computer was down and that they had been trying unsuccessfully to re-boot it. Maintenance was on the way ...

The flight even landed early, and although I was nervous that my luggage wouldn't make it back, it showed up and it was time to drive back to Topeka, home sweet home.       ... Colorado than Kansas, since the ground is not fertile. Ranchers use the area which was once covered with tallgrass prairie. Maybe thus is why the government thoght it would be the perfect place for the Chicago area native Pottawatomie nation to settle on reservations in the 1830's.
