    ... Island Winery, and of course we had to bring a couple bottles home for the evening. We also drove through Point Pelee National Park, a famous bird migration route, spotting wild turkeys and a cougar.     We just spent a fantastic time-out weekend in this isolated and beautiful little corner of Ontario! Having a camera by your side will ensure that they're not forgotten.

    Double whammy - Point Pelee, which is of course the southernmost tip of Canada; With its east and west facing shores, this double geo anomaly is a great candidate for the best sunrise AND sunset photography!

    ... at the border and took a bus across through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. A couple of Americans tried to cross the border without documents but they were not let through and were reprimanded sternly. We, thankfully were greeted with a smile.
