... The trouble with America is that all the places to stay are right on the outskirts, and all the things to do are closed forever. It's inconvenient at best, spiteful at worst.
First room they gave us they assured us was ready, but one of the beds wasn't made and there were fag ends in the ashtray and an empty pizza box on the microwave, making us thing perhaps it might need a bit more of a going over.

... last Monday but the quail gave us a good send off. I counted 10 quail in the first 2 sites of the day. As far as I know that is the most I have heard all year.
