My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . No problem. Hasta la vista baby. Steve

Brantford, Ontario, Canada rdevansville... get around to it all. Whatever it might be.

Been into the city alot more visiting friends and family. Riverdale Farm right in Toronto was a highlight. A slice of simplicity smack dab in the middle of chaos. Gotta love it. Immediately, the neighborhood is popping out all these cool individuals I had no idea even lived here. Just goes to show that your own backyard can be very intriguing indeed! Meeting new people for me sort of bridges the ...

Along the way, we'll pass Mount Rushmore and spend some time in Yellowstone Park before heading north through Montana and the Okanagon Valley onto Kamloops. So began a long 7 hour drive with Parrot Nose declaring her opinions about Costa Rican trade and poor roads, leaving our driver to confide in his dislike of "la mujer muy loco" at our food stop. Kitchener, Ontario, Canada cdrewitz... sole reason for visiting this rural city. The whole of thanks-giving was spent intoxicating myself in the drinks tents and a few local bars. Unfortunately this Oktoberfest was a big disappointment. It had the Oompah bands and locals dressed in the traditional Bavarian clothing but that's where the similarities between this festival and a German Oktoberfest ends. For starters they ...
Kitchener, Ontario, Canada sd0744... the airport human traffic. This is really the most diverse crowd to watch, and it's a wonderful view of humanity. There were couples married for 40 some years bickering over the correct exit door and a man in "slush" pants with an army print on them. Some women carried flowers in their hand from their lovers while they passed the 20-strong team of soccer players from Scotland, all dressed in kilts. And of course, there was the eternal ...
