... than I thought, a few of the times when George said "One last time" it got me and when the band hugged at the end. I was so not ready to say goodbye to Alexis but if it was going to be done, It had to be done right! Despite Wade smashing up his whole kit, the end was pretty tame and the crowd left pretty quick, I waited around for a while then headed back to the hostel and just lay on my bed playing through the night.
... and Ashley’s friends Rob and Joce pretended admirably to be as much into it as me. Rob and I also conversed about
touring and the impracitcal nature of live gigs, as his band had recently had to
cancel a North American tour. He gave me his band’s CD, though we joked that it
would probably break before I got home. It did.
