          ... the airport, which was needed. Had a little jaunt out with local pals. Also needed. Prepping for my drive home, which is going to be spread over a couple of days. Think I may head to the NC/VA mountains tomorrow and look for a place to spend the night there. There's nothing that some gorgeous mountain scenery can't make better. And who knows what I might discover along the way....

          We drove out of the mountains towards the great city of Baltimore. Since the only baseball stadiums the boys had ever been to are Tropicana Field (a bug free environment by the way) Wrigley Field, and US Cellular Field, I thought Camden Yards would be a great place to check out. Conner was also on a soapbox to visit one of his favorite restaurants, Chaps Pit Beef.

          Today we left Baltimore at 12:15 in the afternoon. We arrived in Charlotte for our connection where we spent 3 hours awaiting our plane to Madrid. The trip took about 8 hours and at 7:00 a.m. Madrid time (1 a.m. Baltimore time) the plane landed at Barajas International Airport in Madrid.
