    ... finally. "Comfort Inn", its name- maybe for Lord of the Rings hobbits or dwarves! Our 6th floor room is small to the say the least - so small we couldn't both get in dragging our cases at the same time. Compact? Bijou, springs briefly to mind. Large? No! Even the pits of a place at West Haven could accommodate two of this room. However, it is right next to Central Park and we can walk Downtown from here or catch the Subway very easily.
    A welcome bed nonetheless after another busy day.

    After a shower and a free muffin from the breakfast bar downstairs, I was out the door by 7.30am to catch a cab to the Empire State Building (I figured a 25 minute walk would put me to the back of a long line after the 8am first elevator).
