    ... for a few days. We will see the Eileen Donan Castle, Sky and Loch Ness. I'm sure you are all excited about the photos of the Loch Ness Monster I will be getting!! We will arrive back in edinburgh on the evening of the 23rd. On the 25th we will board a plane and fly to Amsterdam where we will spend a few days until we fly home on the 29th.

    I hope you are all ready for pictures galore! I'm trying to decide how many memory cards I should take. ...

    We aren’t done by any means - we need to keep in touch with the folks that touched us. We also need to present our experiences to clubs in our District. Hopefully we can communicate accurately the immense hospitality and smiles that were shared. GSE is a great experience. It has opened my eyes wider to this part of the world, and to the broader impact of Rotary.

    ... can't be good. Probably a brain tumor, I think. All day I keep hoping it will go away, but it doesn't. I imagine going to the doctor and her wanting to rush me into surgery. "Hold on," I'd say, "can't this wait until after I get back from Isle Royale?"

    Monday morning I call the doctor and get a same-day appointment. They send in a young physician's assistant who asks a couple of questions and tells me I need to see an ophthalmologist. Today. But she won't tell me why. She ...
