... The rock pools are great although access can be restricted if there is a very high tide. The council is developing walking/cycling tracks in a number of places and, when they are linked, will provide many kilometres of paths. The paths will link the 5 main beaches around Newcastle. ... br> From the map we had been given of the area we had figured out 3 days worth of activities for our stay in Newcastle! Todays was to venture up to 'Blackbutt reserve' where you could walk on the trails and visit the animal exhibitions there.

... like an absolutely luxury. They seem insignificant and simple to other people but to me they were absolute bliss.
