Arrived in Toronto today, took about an hour and a half drive from Niagara Falls. The drive was a little bit hairy, we drove (or rather Lee drove) from Niagara Falls via the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) which is more or less like the M1 but a lot bigger. Stayed at the Crowne Plaza at the top of the hill. Not much to do around town but hang out. Some nice stores on the main strip. The best restaurant is a bit off the main strip and is a Japanese restaurant near the base of the hotel. Nearby, check out out Tail O' Pup BBQ in between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid Some random facts: Lake Placid isn't on Lake Placid...it is on Mirror Lake Nearby, Saranac Lake (where we stayed years ago), is actually on Flower Lake
