... to eat at Wendy's rather than Taco Bell this go around. We were back home in just over 7 hours, much better than the 9 it took up there! The temperature difference when we got home was definitely a shocker, St. Louis wasn't any warmer than it normally is at the end of June but when you spend a week up north, even upper 80s is a shocker.

Sad to leave vacation behind, but happy to be home sweet home and happy to sleep in my own bed! Til next time Michigan, you've been ...

After the afternoon at the beach we headed back to Holland for dinner. For some reason Chinese food sound super tasty and there was a Chinese restaurant located right across the street from our hotel, how convenient right? Next I kept heading north up the coast and stopped at Sleeping Bear Dunes. This is a MUST SEE if you are going to be in the Northern Michigan area.
