          Day 11

A travel blog entry by zuwicki on Aug 02, 2015

... chuckle. On our last day in Sturgis after a nice ride we were headed back to the hotel and I noticed a sign along the side of the road. There was a bar that had a sign out front that showed "riders and fender fluff welcome". Well needless to say that got my dander up! It still works me up thinking about somebody putting that on the sign. I told Shane about it when we ...

Before we head out to the great beyond all on our own, we thought it would be a good idea to take a mini drive up to the Hermitage to visit my Dad and Cyndi. There were certainly some milestones during this quick over night trip. First, I sat on my perch as navigator in the rig for the first time. There were many other firsts - first time we filled up the fresh water tank, first time ...

... vouchers for lunch and dinner, which were like $14 for falafel and chips! We also got free cups that were worth $8.95 with fountain drink in it!! Crazy!! Thanks camp for paying for our meals! Then with other staff, we went to the Hershey Chocolate World. So This place was just outside the amusement park and you could go on a tour ride for free as well as shop in the gigantic gift shop. The other parts like the 4D movie and make your own chocolate thing cost money. I ...

2 hour flight to Philadelphia + 20 min train ride to center city + 2 hour wait/lunch + 1.5 hour bus ride later... I am at Lehigh University!!! It is a gorgeous campus with a lot of hills and concrete steps. The midday heat rivaled that of Atlanta. I managed to get checked in, shower and nap before going to an all staff dinner! It's a much bigger camp with 14-15 staff members and 120 students! Seems like a diverse, nice mix of people. I am ...
