Well it's good bye to Ann, Amanda, Luke and Tom until next time. A wonderful restful week and so good to catch up with every one.
Next stop, our last camp before home. a very peaceful spot right on the river. No toilets unfortunately Helen ! But we do have the spot all to ourselves for the 2 days, plenty of shade and warm weather. Bit of rain Sunday night, but no problems getting ...

... when we arrived at camp. We were joined by Dave & Jan, Pete & Trish, Eddie & Chris, Les & Kim and Jack & Jill. After collecting loads of wood (but not enough) we had Happy Hour around the fire, which continued on until quite late. A huge tree was later dragged over, using many contributed muscles, but unfortunately Ronnie's cough is hanging on so we were the first to bed.

After doing our normal chores in Norseman, i.e. filling up with fuel ...

It was with great difficulty that we packed up today and got on the road to Canberra! No one seemed to want to leave! Joshua and Laura were up early and got the fire going without any help from matches!

Then we had a yummy breakfast of bacon and toast and then we eventually got packed up and got on the road at about 10.30am! ...

... intended first stop, Birdcage Reserve, half way between Narrandera and Hay. It was a nice little spot with a sheltered area and table, which we step up our camp around. The weather was quite nice for the set up and we had dinner outside. It then got a bit exciting when a wind and rain picked up very quickly and we soon found out why don't leave too much loose stuff lying around ...
