... arrives with a yappy old lady taxi driv** and shock horror the streets are still empty so we made it Phew! Mind you Qantas & Jetstar are sist** companies and I made the whole booking on Qantas site & paid as one transaction and bizarrely Jetstar had us down as paying $20 too little, which was incorrect and they did sort out quickly in fairness. Curiously the cheapo airline Jetstar leg cost more and with no breakfast thrown in. Anyway all in all 'twas a great weekend and would go again.

... they went on holiday in a few days.  In the evening I drove back to Glenelg to catch up with Chantal and Liz and to laugh at Will's sunburn.  We had a lovely last meal with them both at a restaurant in Glenelg and were very sad to say goodbye to them on the 2nd as they headed back to Warrnambool (in one day!) and we headed up to the Adelaide.  It really was special again to share some of our travel adventures with friends from home.

For our last day with Michael and Libby we saw a 20-20 day-night cricket match at the Adelaide Oval between South Australia and Western Australia (South Australia won). Actually, almost 20 percent of the time is not fun at all, due to long drives, lack of vacancies at motel/hotels, bad food, poor sleep and similar hurdles or plans that just don't pan out. Since we don't always have access at the internet to alter our plans online, plan changes can become expensive and frustrating at times.
