Hello again from NEPA. We've had so much fun since the last post, I don't know where to start. I'll do my best to keep it short and sweet :) First up, we've enjoyed Trip Advisor's recommended 3 of 11 things to do while in Tunkhannock: The Dietrich Theater, a non chain, restored 4 screen movie house in quaint downtown; Nimble Hill Vineyard & Winery with our new bff's; and Creekside Gardens - a groovy place to hangout. We also stumbled across one of many ...

Greetings from the Endless Mountains! We've been in Tunkhannock, PA for the past few weeks and are in LOVE with this quaint mountain town that the Susquehanna River runs through. We're here to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend with friends and also James will be participating in the first annual MAN GAMES. What are the MAN GAMES you ask? On 4/23 we left NC around 10 a.m and are heading into ...

... stood. The fumes in the air were enough to intoxicate! We survived the long journey with an entertaining passing parade of drunks, mostly happy, sometimes paralytic. A very tall Spanish man held up his short mate like a ventriloquist with his arm up the back of a dummy. Around Hounslow, a succession of high heeled young ladies wearing little but frilly dresses descended from the top deck and alighted into the crisp 2 degree dawn. There must have been a dozen of them. We arrived ...

... reception and the only place was out in the rain soaked grassy area where we thought we would sink. the creek had risen even more and we were getting flash flood warnings on our phone.

Despite the gathering dark, we chose to cut bait here and head to a Walmart parking lot about 30 minutes away. We called the Walmart who said it was fine to park. We arrived at dusk in time to find a decent site. ...
