      Christmas in Callicoon

... planned to attend some of the concerts that continue through to Jan 6th. Christmas Eve dawned soggily in New York. It was grey, foggy and rainy. I didn't even venture outdoors until early afternoon, when we departed in the new white Jeep (yes, my brother bought a Jeep!) with Mal and Hilary, bound for their country house in Callicoon, at the southern end of the Catskills. Mal and Sean had gone on Sunday to begin preparations for our Christmas there, and Mal had returned to drive ...

... stand properly nor put anything up to elevate my position. Due to this, I was forced to look up at my view screen during the whole show, creating a heck of a neck creak.

Once the show had completed, load out went really smoothly. We (as in the video crew) were done by 1:30am, which is a nice change from previous venues. One more show and I will have a day off in Toronto. I’m looking forward to it.

      Day 4

A travel blog entry by pedallingtheusa on Jul 23, 2014

Today was the toughest day so far. Our target was to hit 50 miles which we just about got to. We climbed up through the mountains of Pensilvania, amounting to just short of 2000 feet of climbing. I never realise that many hills existed on earth, they ...
